Gunmen kill two women in public in Baghdad

Shafaq News / Unidentified gunmen killed two women on Tuesday, in the capital, Baghdad, in an unknown motivated incident.

“Gunmen riding a motorcycle wearing masks had opened fire by light weapons on two women in Al-Bonouk neighborhood, east of Baghdad, a security source told Shafaq News Agency.

He added that one of the women died on the spot, while one of the gunmen noticed that the second was only injured to return again and shoot her in the head in front of everyone then they fled.

The authorities opened an investigation into the accident, and the motives of the assassination have not yet been determined.
