France: Barzani is the leader who can face the Iraqi crisis and solve it

and find a proper solution to it, praising his role  and Kurdish Peshmarga in the protection of the people in the areas which witnessed the withdrawal of the Iraqi army and the assistance given to the displaced people.

A statement for the presidency of Kurdistan Region said on Tuesday, received by “Shafaq News", that Barzani received a telephone call from French Foreign Minister , Laurent Fabius informed him the greetings of French President , Francois Hollande and praised Peshmarga  forces to fill the security vacuum and restore security to the areas in which Iraqi army withdrew after the security developments that have occurred in Iraq.

Fabius praised Barzani and Kurdistan people reception to the displaced  people from Nineveh and other areas and provide them with assistance

 Fabius discussed during the call , the complexities and sensitivity of the political situation in Iraq, expressing his country’s concern from the growing strength of the militants and terrorists threats.

Fabius added according to the statement, that Barzani is the leader who can stand in front of this crisis and find a solution to it.

The statement noted that Barzani thanked from his part, French President and Foreign Minister, stressing that Kurdistan is always a refuge and a safe haven as Peshmarga will would protect all religious and national components in Kurdistan and areas controlled by it now.

The statement added that the French minister announced that President Hollande is watching carefully the situation in Iraq, stressing that communication is continuous between his country and Kurdistan.

Peshmarga Kurdish forces have entered many of the disputed areas in Mosul, Salahuddin and Kirkuk after the Iraqi army their positions there, in the provinces of the region that received tens of thousands of displaced people from these sites, as reported by the news reports.
