Fire breaks out at Abu Ghraib prison in Baghdad
Shafaq News / A security official source said on Monday that a fire had broken out inside Abu Ghraib prison, west of the Iraqi capital, Baghdad.
A fire broke out by some weeds inside Abu Ghraib prison as civil defense teams rushed to put it off, the source told Shafaq News Agency.
Abu Ghraib prison, which is currently called the Central Baghdad Prison, is a prison located near Abu Ghraib city, 32 km west of Baghdad.
In a similar incident, a fire broke out inside Al-Hilla University College in Babil Governorate, as the defense teams are trying to control the fire.
A source in the civil defense said that the fire broke out inside the university cafeteria and civil defense teams are still trying to extinguish it.
