Execution sentence to a convict killed his two sisters and two children southern Iraq

Shafaq News / The criminal court of Al-Qadisiyah governorate in southern Iraq sentenced to death by hanging on Tuesday, against a convict who burned his sisters as well as two of his sister's children.

A statement of the Supreme Judicial Council stated that "the convicted person confessed to the details of the incident as he brought a container of twenty liters of oil and poured it into the entrance to the room where the victims were present, then set fire to what led to burning the room fully   due to family disputes according to his confessions. ".

He added that "the incident took place in the second neighborhood of Al-Oruba at four a.m., noting that" the arrest of the convicted by the security forces took place within less than an hour that saw him flee while carrying out this crime.

He pointed out that "the death sentence by hanging to death for the convict comes in accordance with the provisions of Article 406 of the Iraqi Penal Code."
