Dozens of Iraqis stuck after Turkey closes the land borders

Shafaq News / Turkey closed its doors to two-way crossings with Iraq due to Corona virus.

Hurriyet newspaper reported that Turkey had announced the closure of "Khabur" border crossing that had been opened for Iraq in Silopi in Chernak.

The newspaper pointed out that these measures come as preventive measures to prevent the outbreak of Corona virus.

This measure affected dozens of Iraqis who were stuck at the border, after taking the road as a result of suspending flights as well.
