Dohuk protest demanding Barzani of “stronger position “against al-Maliki
in front of the provincial council building in protest against the policies of Prime Minister , Nuri al-Maliki and cutting the salaries of employees and retirees of the region , calling the region's president , Massoud Barzani "by strong positions " toward Baghdad policies .
“Hundreds of residents demonstrated in front of Dohuk provincial Council to " denounce " the policies of Prime Minister , Nuri al-Maliki and cut the salaries of employees and retirees of the region ,” the member of Dohuk provincial council , Salem Badhira said in an interview with " Shafaq News “.
He added that the demonstrators raised slogans expressing their "full" solidarity with the position of regional president, Massoud Barzani on the financial crisis " made up by Malik’s government ," noting that “ they are demanding the leadership of the region with stronger position to respond to the issue of cutting salaries.
