Diyala Council: Force of Buhriz people protect the sub-district

“The security elements that the federal government approved its adaptation by Buhriz people began to exercise their security duties along with the military and police forces,” The head of Diyala provincial council, Muthana al-Tamimi told “Shafaq News”.

Tamimi said that all the families that were displaced from the sub-district control the spread of the elements of Daash organization have returned and the problem is fully resolved .

Al-Tamimi pointed to the existence of sums of money that has not been determined as compensation to those affected as a result of the recent events .

Prime Minister , Nuri al-Maliki approved on the request of the people of Buhriz that 100 elements would protect the sub-district along with the security forces .

The security forces of the army and police had cleared some neighborhoods in the sub-district after the spread of the elements of Daash in an attempt to control the sub-district , 8 km northern Baquba .

Witnesses say that the armed " militia " entered the area after the expulsion of   " Daash " elements , burned homes, shops , mosques and executed a number of people from the area on sectarian backgrounds .
