Barzani receives a message from Ocalan

addressed the situation of Kurds in Syria and the expectedKurdish National Congress.

The Furat news agency close to (PKK) m briefed by " Shafaq News " , that the Kurdish Democratic Popular delegation in northern Kurdistan (Turkey) , announced on Saturday , the end of its meeting with Ocalan , stressing that he sent a letter to President of Kurdistan Region , Massoud Barzani on peace issues in Turkey and the development of western Kurdistan and the national Conference.

It explained that Ocalan met with my Heads of HDP, Sri Syria Aunder and Leyla Zana , in prison on Imrali island and gave them a message to Barzani .

The agency quoted Ocalan as saying that Zana wrote a letter to Barzani , afterthought the message is still at the security forces on Imrali island , scheduled to arrive for them then to Barzani .

The content of the message focused on the issues of the situation in western Kurdistan, peace in Turkey and Kurdish National Congress.

Ocalan, serving a life sentence was arrested in 15 February, 1999 in Kenya, who resorted in a joint operation between the forces , the U.S. Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) , the National Intelligence Turkish Agency MIT and the Israeli Mossad to be transferred later to Turkey for trial by special plane.

Ocalan was put in solitary confinement on Imrali island in ​​Marmara Sea in Turkey since he was arrested , although he was sentenced to death in origin, but the sentence was converted to life imprisonment when Turkey abolished the death penalty in August 2002.
