Barzani heads to Europe to participate in “Davos “economic forum

participating in “ Davo” World Economic Forum .

A statement by the President of the region’s office , Fouad Hussein reportedly for " Shafaq News " , that Barzani left to Europe on Wednesday evening on a visit, including a number of European countries to hold talks with several presidents and senior officials .

He pointed out that Barzani will take part during the visit in the World Economic Forum in Davos , which will be held in 22-25 of current month in Switzerland , indicating that he will meet on the sidelines of the conference many of the leaders involved in it and participate in the many conferences that deal with economic and political conditions in Iraq and Kurdistan region.

He added that this is the second time that Barzani participates in this Global Forum , which will be attended by many great leaders of the countries of the world , hinting to his being invited to participate is an evidence of growing economic and political statue of Kurdistan , which drew attention to important global circles .

He added that the delegation, which was accompanied by Barzani includes both President of the Presidium of the region , Fouad Hussein , Minister of Natural Resources in the regional government , Ashti Hawrami , official in the Department of Foreign Relations , Falah Mustafa and a number of advisors .

World Economic Forum will be launched next week in Switzerland in its forty-fourth session in Davos to be held between 22 and January 25 th, with the participation of a group of politicians and economists from around the world .

It is expected the arrival of 2,500 participants from about a hundred countries , including about 40 heads of state and government to Davos to participate in this annual forum in the winter resort of the Swiss Alps .

After its founding in 1971 , Davos forum provides itself through “ a number of ideas " and discussions of the major topics that shape the world of the future.
