Baghdad records two new cases of Corona virus
Shafaq News / The Director General of Baghdad Health Department/ Rusafa Abdul-Ghani Saadoun Al-Saadi announced recording two new cases of corona virus for two women while they were going to Al-Kindi and Al-Zafaraniya hospitals.
Al-Saadi said in a statement received by "Shafaq News", "al- Zaafaraniya Hospital received a condition for a woman suffering from high temperatures and shortness of breath and had a contact history with her sister from Iran."
He added that "laboratory tests were performed to show her positive results confirming her infection with the virus and she was transferred to Ibn Al-Khatib Hospital to complete her treatment and her general health condition is good.
Al-Saadi explained that "the second case is of a 72-year-old woman from of Al-Bayaa area visited Al-Kindy Hospital for the purpose of performing a surgical operation and when the test was conducted in the consulting clinic it was found that she was suffering from a high temperature with a slight cough and upon inquiry it was found that she returned from Iran two weeks ago." .
He pointed out that, "after conducting laboratory tests, the results showed positive confirmation of her infection with the virus, noting that she also suffers from high blood pressure and diabetes," noting that "she was transferred to Ibn Al-Khatib Hospital, and she is in a stable health condition and started treatment."
He added that "all precautionary and preventive measures have been taken regarding health treatment with those in contact with them from their families through quarantine and medical hosting procedures in Ibn al-Khatib hospital”.
