Anbar criticizes the federal ministries’ positions from its humanitarian crisis
, indicating that the province suffers from a severe shortage in all fields of life .
Hundreds of civilians were killed and other wounded tens of thousands stuck amid fighting between the security forces and militants linked to al-Qaeda since the beginning of this month , especially in Ramadi and Fallujah cities.
While tens of thousands civilians were able to flee to safer areas in Anbar and other provinces as residents complain of shortages of electricity , food and other basic services .
A member of council , Arkan al- Trmoz told “Shafaq News " , that " the province are suffering from a crisis in the fuel , electricity and food."
He added that "the statements of the ministries on the submission of requirements for Anbar province, does not exist on the ground , we hear statements without being implemented in Anbar."
Al-Trmoz demanded the federal government to " accelerate the provision of basic needs of the people , especially displaced people and to stop the shelling against civilians in Fallujah city."
Iraq has began last month a military campaign against al-Qaeda and " Daash " after a senior commander in the army , a group of officers and soldiers were killed by a number of " terrorist elements " in Anbar .
