Shafaq News / The United States of America has imposed sanctions on entities and individuals involved in an activity that enables violent behavior of the Iranian regime.

In a statement, US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said that the actions of these individuals and entities provide revenue for Tehran regime, which it may use to fund terrorism and other destabilizing activities, such as recent missile strikes targeting Iraqi and coalition forces, at Taji military base in Iraq.

He added, that the sanctions would deprive the Iranian regime of basic income, which it gets from its petrochemical industry, and increase its economic and diplomatic isolation, stressing that the United States will continue to apply its sanctions against Tehran fully.

Pompeo pointed out that the sanctions target seven companies because of their involvement in a major deal to buy, own, sell, transport or market petrochemical products from Iran.

These seven entities include: South African International Proprietary Limited, McFly Plastic HK Limited, Saturn Oasis Co, and Sea Charming Shipping Company Limited, all based in Hong Kong, and companies Chinese (Dalian Golden Sun Import & Export Co), (Tianyi International Dalian Co), and (Aoxing Ship Management Shanghai Ltd).

The U.S. Secretary of State stated that the individuals targeted for the sanctions are the executives of the aforementioned companies, and they are Mohamed Hassan Toulay, Hussein Takamouli and Rida Abdzada Sammanani.
