America classifies “Daash” and “Nusrah Front “within international terrorism list

The U.S. State Department said in a statement seen by " Shafaq News " , it will add a number of organizations and other groups to this list , including the Islamic state and Furqan Media Production , noting that it has classified Nusrah Front within the same foreign terrorist organization “.

The implications of this classification (i.e., an international terrorist organization) include banning American citizens from dealing with the group and freeze all its assets and interests, which are subjected to the powers of the United States.

The Ministry said that it had taken these actions in consultation with the Ministries of Justice and Treasury , stressing that these amendments do not represent a change in U.S. policy toward the terrorist organizations as it has classified the Islamic State of Iraq and al-Sham " Daash " and Nusrah Front   within local terrorist organizations since several months ago .

It indicated that it is reviewing the names on a regular basis and as needed , adding that it has made changes to the names and classifications of these organizations.
