Al-Halbousi: We will proceed with the constitutional procedures ,if Abdul-Mahdi does not attend the hosting session

Shafaq News/ Iraqi Parliament Speaker ,Mohammed al-Halbousi said on Thursday if Prime Minister ,Adel Abdul Mahdi does not attend the meeting, the parliament , it will proceed with the necessary constitutional procedures.

Halbousi said during the meeting that "whenever the Prime Minister or his representative attend the meeting room , the session will be open and the public directly to the public opinion."

"We have sent an official letter to the prime minister's office on the hosting request and we are waiting for an answer," he added.

Halbousi said that "according to the constitutional provisions, the meeting of the parliament will be held as soon as the presence of the Prime Minister attends," noting that "if he does not attend the hosting , the parliament will proceed with the necessary constitutional procedures."
