Abdul Mahdi meets engineer’s representatives
Shafaq News/ Prime Minister, Adel Abdul Mahdi met a number of representatives of the protesting engineers, and their demands were received and discussed.
The Prime Minister stressed that the government has given priority since the beginning of its work to provide all that meets the needs of the Iraqi people, first and foremost to meet the legitimate demands in access to employment opportunities.
The Prime Minister directed to study offering jobs for 1000 (thousand engineers) to work in various ministries and governorates.
For their part, the representatives of the protesters expressed their satisfaction with the results of the meeting, and that it was a fruitful and frank meeting with the Prime Minister, expressing their thanks and appreciation for responding to their requests , their peaceful sit-in and for the discussed solutions, stressing their keenness on the importance of maintaining security, stability and peaceful demonstrations to achieve the demands and the public interest of the country ,according to a statement issued by Mahdi’s Office.
