A year after heading the government... What is Sadr’s position from Abdul Mahdi and what he demanded from him?
Shafaq News/ The Sadrist movement revealed on Monday, the position of its leader Moqtada al-Sadr from the performance and work of the Iraqi government, headed by Adel Abdul Mahdi, who is nearing at the end of his first year in office.
A leader on the movement , Hakim al-Zamili, told Shafaq News that"al-Sadr is with building the Iraqi state , the decisions of the Iraqi government and the state to be coherent, as well as the parliament's legislations that serve the Iraqi people, but the citizen is still suffering, so far, there is no change in the government or parliamentary performance”.
Al-Zamili said that "the government has no solutions so far to the important issues that concern the citizen such as unemployment, the issue of services, electricity, water, and many others, from the health or educational file," stressing that "the leader of the Sadrist movement , Muqtada al-Sadr is not pleased with the work of Adel Abdul Mahdi’s government as he gave a lot of advice and guidance to the Prime Minister and the whole government, but it did not respond”.
