A whole family killed in Basra
Shafaq News / An official security source said on Monday that unidentified people had killed an entire family in the southernmost city of Basra.
The source informed Shafaq News that unknown persons killed a family of a father, a mother and two children in Al-Muhandiseen neighborhood in Basra city.
The source added that a one-year-old child from the family members survived.
For its part, Basra police said in an official security situation that "at (0100) unidentified gunmen killed the victim (Ali Abdul-Sadah Khalaf Aziz Al-Khalaf born 78) and his wife, the victim (Benin Issam Salman Al-Asadi, born 82 ) who is a housewife and their two children who are both Aya Ali born 2011 and Abbas Ali born 2008 who were shot in the head by a 9 mm pistol, whose type is unknown inside their place of residence in Al-Qiblah area, Al-Mohandessin neighborhood, according to the claim of his brother.
