A protester dies of his wounds in Najaf
Shafaq News / A protester died on Wednesday due to his wounds during al- Sadr Square events in Najaf city.
A medical source told Shafaq News, that the protester (Hassan Al-Saabri), after being hospitalized for several days, died of his wounds as a result of the injury in the events of Sadr Square.
The leader of the Sadrist movement, Muqtada had ordered , after Muhammad Allawi’s mandate to form the government, the "blue hats" in coordination with the security forces to restore official working hours, and to open roads that were blocked by protesters in areas where demonstrations are taking place in Iraq.
Clashes erupted when members of the "Blue Hats" affiliated to "Peace Brigades", the military wing of the Sadrist movement, attacked the sit-in square in Najaf city, killing a number of protesters and wounding others.
