A joint force carries out an airdrop and arrests a leader in PMF western Iraq

Shafaq News / An official military source said on Monday that one of the leaders of the tribal popular mobilization Forces (PMF) was arrested by a joint force that carried out an airdrop in Anbar province, western Iraq.

The source told Shafaq News, that a joint force composed of the American army and the anti-terror agency carried out an airdrop earlier storming the home of the official of the second regiment in the tribal PMF, "Muadi Al-Ubaidi" in Al-Baghdadi district affiliated to Heet district in Anbar.

The source added that the force arrested al-Ubaidi, according to an arrest warrant issued against him from the judiciary, without giving further details.
