Which parliamentary blocs support holding early elections in Iraq?

Shafaq News / MP of Sairoon Alliance, Riad Al-Masoudi, revealed on Sunday the political parties that support the option of holding early parliamentary elections in Iraq. 

Al-Masoudi told Shafaq News Agency, "Sairoon, as well as a part of the Iraqi Forces Alliance, are the only parties that support the option of holding early elections in Iraq", adding, "there are political parties that are working to create obstacles to prevent holding early elections, and this is why we see differences over the election law and the Federal Court law".

It is noteworthy that the Iraqi Prime Minister, Mustafa Al-Kadhimi, set June 6, 2021, as the date for holding early parliamentary elections, which were the most prominent demands of the popular demonstrations that overthrew Abdul Mahdi's government.

On July 31st, the Iraqi Prime Minister, Mustafa Al-Kadhimi, announced that the parliamentary elections will be held on June 6, 2021, pledging to provide international monitoring of the electoral process, while the parliamentary blocs are still divided over the date and the mechanisms for conducting the elections.
