Turkish bombing kills Iraqi border guards and PKK fighters

Shafaq News / An informed source said that 5 Iraqi border guards and PKK fighters were killed on Tuesday by an air strike by a Turkish drone in Erbil governorate.

The source told Shafaq News Agency, that a Turkish drone bombed on a meeting that was being held in the Bradost region in Sidekan of Soran district, north of Erbil Governorate

The source added that preliminary information indicates that 5 are killed from the two parties, one of whom is the Brigadier General of the Iraqi Border Guard  police Zubair Hali 

The source pointed out that the meeting between the PKK and the border guards police was held due to  the killing of a Kurdish shepherd and the tensions that took place.
