Shafaq News / security sources revealed to Shafaq News agency that the Ain al-Assad base was not subjected to any attack, noting that the explosions heard were due to training inside the base.
The sources added that the US-led Global Coalition forces were testing their weapons in a routine training procedure.
It is worth noting that 10 rockets landed on the base last Wednesday, which caused the death of a civilian contractor who had a heart attack.
