Second Iraqi plane carrying aid arrives in Khartoum

Shafaq News / Urgent relief materials arrived at Khartoum International Airport on Monday, in implementation of the directive of the Prime Minister, Mustafa Al-Kadhimi, following floods that caused casualties and extensive damage.
The General Secretariat of the Iraqi Council of Ministers stated in a statement, that this second plane loaded with 12 tons of urgent relief materials prepared by the Ministry of Immigration and Displacement, and accompanied by a delegation representing the General Secretariat.
The plane was received by the Sudanese Minister of Immigration and Development, a representative of the Sudanese Ministry of Health, and the Iraqi Chargé d'Affairs and Consul in Khartoum.
The statement added, based on the directive, the process of sending shipments will continue, in coordination with the relevant authorities.
