MoH: some citizens repel free masks
Shafaq News/ The Iraqi Ministry of Health criticized the noncompliance of some citizens with the protective measures amid the surge of COVID-19 cases and the facilities provided by the Ministry in this regard.
A member of the Media team of the Ministry, Roba Falah Hassan, said in a statement to Shafaq News Agency, "unfortunately, there is remarkable Complacency in committing to the protective measures, especially donning masks, despite the field follow up by the medical teams and security forces. The Ministry of Health provided free masks to the pedestrians, but there is a general reluctance of it."
She added," the Ministry reiterates the importance of adopting the preventive measures, including donning masks, hand sanitation, and embracing social distancing. Whether there will be a lockdown or not is only a prerogative of the Supreme Commission for Health and Safety that will issue a new set of decisions today or tomorrow."
