MP calls on appellants against the Budget to revoke their appeal

Shafaq News/ MP of Sairoon described the appeals to annul the Federal Budget law as "political and Electoral outbidding", calling the appellants to discard their appeal.

MP of Sairoon, Jamal Fakher, told Shafaq News Agency, "we do not object upon appealing at the Federal Supreme Court according to the Iraqi law and Constitution. However, appealing is not in the interest of the Iraqi people."

"The Parliament approved the budget bill by consensus," he continued, "the motion to annul the Federal Budget law is an electoral and political outbidding."

Fakher called on the appellant MPs and Political blocs to withdraw their appeal, asserting, "appealing against the budget impedes its implementation."

The State of Law Coalition, headed by the Former Prime Minister, Nouri al-Maliki, appealed at the Federal Supreme Court against six articles from the law.
