Shafaq News / Khan al-Tamr is a big, crowded market that all residents of Kirkuk visit everyday.
It is the largest fruit and vegetable market, and is always very crowded in the morning.
It has gained its name years ago, back when it included more than 60 shops selling dates (Tamr in Arabic).
