Iraqi authorities arrest the killer of a retired major general in Baghdad

Shafaq News / The security authorities have arrested a person accused of assassinating a retired major general at the Ministry of Interior in the capital, Baghdad.
Baghdad Crime Control said in a statement on Friday that it had arrested the killer of retired Major General Hashem Idris, whose body was found inside his house in Al-Mansour district.
Investigations revealed that the motive of the crime was theft, according to the statement.
