Iraqi Electoral Commission approves final candidates for provincial council elections

Shafaq News/ The Iraqi Independent High Electoral Commission announced on Tuesday the approval of the final lists of candidates for the upcoming provincial council elections.
A total of 5,915 candidates have been cleared to run, comprising 4,258 men and 1,657 women. However, 357 candidates were excluded during the vetting.
