Iraq to start receiving Coronavirus vaccine starting next week

Shafaq News / The Iraqi Ministry of Health and Environment announced on Thursday that next week flights will start operating to transport Coronavirus vaccine to Iraq.

The Ministry's spokesperson, Dr. Seif Al-Badr, said in a briefing next Saturday Iraq will receive the first package of coronavirus vaccine.

Earlier, the Minister of Health and Environment, Hassan Al-Tamimi said Iraq will deliver 10 million doses of the vaccine by September 2021 which is sufficient for 20% of population."

So far, Iraq recorded 680,288 cases and 13,324 deaths.
