Iraq: new decisions to curb COVID-19
Shafaq News / The Higher Committee for Health and National Safety in Iraq announced today, Sunday, a number of new COVID-19 preventive measures.
The Iraqi state television said that the Committee decided to reopen private clinics, and directed to facilitate the entry of oxygen cylinders through the Iraqi borders with Kuwait, while allowing private sector investors to import them from abroad.
It is noteworthy that Iraqi hospitals suffer from liquid oxygen shortage- which is essential to treat COVID-19 patients- amid increasing numbers of daily caseloads.
The Iraqi Ministry of Health and Environment registered yesterday, Saturday, 3000 new cases and 2049 recoveries of COVID-19 in 24 hours throughout Iraq.
