ISIS terrorists killed in airstrikes in Saladin and Kirkuk
Shafaq News / The Iraqi army carried out today, Tuesday, multiple airstrikes targeting ISIS positions in the governorates of Saladin and Kirkuk.
A statement by the Security Media Cell stated that the army’s air forces carried out airstrikes on Masirah and Hilal Al-Salem and destroyed ISIS headquarters in the Tigris River within Samarra sector in Saladin Governorate, in addition to two boats hidden in the area
In the same context, the Security Media Cell stated that a force from the advanced headquarters for joint operations in Kirkuk governorate, supported by the army and international coalition aircraft, launched an inspection operation in Al-Mahmudiyah area of Hamrin Mountains.
The statement added that the army aircrafts destroyed four dens of ISIS. Two terrorists were spotted by the Iraqi infantry, then pursued and killed by the coalition aircraft.
