Flammable materials were seized in Iraq
Shafaq News / The Iraqi Border Ports Authority has announced today that the Iraqi National Intelligence Service and the Special Forces from Iraqi Joint Operation Command had seized two trucks carrying flammable materials at the border-crossing with Iran.
In a statement received by Shafaq news agency, the authorities said that “according to the investigating judge’s order, and the Prime Minister’s instruction to check any flammable material, two trucks were stopped for the lack of mandatory official documents, remaining for more than 40 days inside the border-crossing, for the unsafe storage of the materials"
The statement explained that "the materials were stores at a temperature of 5 to 35 degrees Celsius, which make it lose its properties and turn into toxic substances that affect plants and soil".
