Covid-19: more than 4000 news cases in Iraq today

Shafaq News / Iraq registered, on Monday, 4293 new cases and of Covid-19, as well as about 2571 recoveries and 76 fatalities in the past 24 hours.

The Iraqi Ministry of Health and Environment said in a statement that, 18295 tests were performed today,

The newly recovery cases were distributed as follows:

Baghdad / Al-Rusafa 279, Baghdad / Al-Karkh 498, Medical City 90, Najaf 118, Al-Sulaymaniyah 25, Erbil 115, Duhok 39,  Karbala 255, Kirkuk 107, Diyala 100, Wasit 33, Babel 188, Basra 326, Maysan 34, Al-Diwaniyah 103, Dhi Qar 95, Al-Anbar 56, and Nineveh 110 .

The statement indicated that the cases that are diagnosed amounted to 4293 cases, distributed as follows:

Baghdad/ Al-Rusafa 345, Baghdad/ Al-Karkh 620,Medica city 103,  Najaf 290, Al-Sulaymaniyah 148, Erbil 443, Duhok 67, Kirkuk 184, Karbala 325, Diyala 67, Wasit 264,  Basra 462, Maysan 120, Babel 214, Dhi Qar 98, Al-Diwaniyah 126, Al-Anbar 73, Muthanna 169, Nineveh 55, and Saladin 120.

While 72 mortality cases were registered, as follows:

Baghdad/ Al-Rusafa 4, Baghdad/ Al-Karkh 3, Medical city 1, Najaf 1, Al-Sulaymaniyah 7, Erbil 13, Karbala 4, Kirkuk 9,  Diyala 1, Basra 8, Maysan 1, Wasit 3, Babel 9, Dhi Qar 1, Nineveh 5, Al-Diwaniyah 3, Anbar 1, Muthanna 1 and Saladin 1.

Since the beginning of the outbreak, the total number of:

·       Confirmed cases: 172583.

·       Recoveries 122700 (71.51% of the cases).

·       Inpatients: 44098, which 590 admitted to ICU.

·       Fatalities: 5785.

·       Tests: 1263650
