Covid-19: More than140 thousand cases in Iraq

Shafaq News / Iraq registered, on Friday, 3461 new cases and of Covid-19, as well as 2172 recoveries and 75 fatalities in the past 24 hours.

The Iraqi Ministry of Health and Environment said in a statement that, 17517 tests were performed today.

The newly recovery cases 2172 were distributed as follows:

Baghdad / Al-Rusafa 324, Baghdad / Al-Karkh 318, Medical City 60, Najaf 115, Al-Sulaymaniyah 43, Erbil 89, Karbala 191, Kirkuk 64, Diyala 88, Wasit 104, Babel 168, Basra 123, Maysan 56, Al-Diwaniyah 87, Dhi Qar 64, Al-Anbar 29,Al-Muthanna 96, Saladin 68, and Nineveh 85.

The statement indicated that the cases that are diagnosed amounted to 3461 cases, distributed as follows:

Baghdad/ Al-Rusafa 279, Baghdad/ Al-Karkh 486, Medical city 86,  Najaf 139, Al-Sulaymaniyah 171, Erbil 244, Duhok 92, Kirkuk 78, Karbala 252, Diyala 68, Wasit 152,  Basra 418, Maysan 126, Babel 115, Dhi Qar 114, Al-Diwaniyah 117, Al-Anbar 65, Al-Muthanna 109, Nineveh 297, and Saladin 53.

While 75 mortality cases were registered, as follows:

Baghdad/ Al-Rusafa 5, Baghdad/ Al-Karkh 4, Medical city 4,  Al-Sulaymaniyah 6, Erbil 6, Duhok 2, Karbala 7, Kirkuk 9,  Diyala 2, Basra 9, Maysan 1, Wasit 3, Babel 5, Dhi Qar 1,  Nineveh 1, Muthanna 5, Al-Diwaniyah 5 and Saladin 2.

Since the beginning of the outbreak, the total number of:

Confirmed cases: 144064

Recoveries 103197

Inpatients: 35631, which 566 admitted to ICU.

Fatalities: 5236.
