Covid-19: 3325 cases and 74 fatalities in Iraq today

Shafaq News / Iraq registered, on Saturday, 3325 new cases and of Covid-19, as well as 2307 recoveries and 74 fatalities in the past 24 hours.

The Iraqi Ministry of Health and Environment said in a statement that, 17125 tests were performed today.

The newly recovery cases 2307 were distributed as follows:

Baghdad / Al-Rusafa 351, Baghdad / Al-Karkh 447, Medical City 81, Najaf 51, Al-Sulaymaniyah 44, Erbil 85, Duhok 30,  Karbala 228, Kirkuk 64, Diyala 136, Wasit 118, Babel 152, Basra 171, Maysan 54, Al-Diwaniyah 123, Dhi Qar 50, Al-Anbar 42 and Nineveh 80 .

The statement indicated that the cases that are diagnosed amounted to 3325 cases, distributed as follows:

Baghdad/ Al-Rusafa 342, Baghdad/ Al-Karkh 308,Medica city 49,  Najaf 269, Al-Sulaymaniyah 104, Erbil 259, Duhok 50, Kirkuk 293, Karbala 239, Diyala 106, Wasit 196,  Basra 297, Maysan 87, Babel 241, Dhi Qar 34, Al-Diwaniyah 110, Al-Anbar 60, Al-Muthanna 63, Nineveh 121, and Saladin 97.

While 74 mortality cases were registered, as follows:

Baghdad/ Al-Rusafa 8, Baghdad/ Al-Karkh 4, Medical city 7,  Al-Sulaymaniyah 4, Erbil 8, Karbala 4, Kirkuk 4,  Diyala 1, Basra 10, Maysan 3, Wasit 1, Babel 5, Dhi Qar 2,  Nineveh 6, Muthanna 4, Al-Diwaniyah 1, Al-Anbar 1 and Saladin 1.

Since the beginning of the outbreak, the total number of:

·       Confirmed cases: 147389

·       Recoveries 105504 (71.6%)

·       Inpatients: 36575, which 577 admitted to ICU.

·       Fatalities: 5310

·       Tests:  1127383
