Cop killers sentenced to death in Wasit

Shafaq News/ Four demonstrators were handed a death sentence by al-Kout's criminal court after being convicted of killing a security officer in Wasit last year.
In June 2021, Captain Ali Abdul-Hasan Shayesh was killed in a hand grenade attack near al-Aziziyah power plant during a demonstration staged by the locals to protest power shortages.
