COVID-19: 2400+ new cases in Iraq today

Shafaq News / The Iraqi Ministry of Health and Environment registered on Friday, 2485 new COVID-19 cases in the past 24 hours.

In a statement received by Shafaq News agency, the ministry said that 18234 were performed, raising the total number of performed tests since the beginning of the outbreak in the country to 879399.

The statement indicated that the cases of recovery amounted to 1863 cases, distributed as follows:

Baghdad/ Al-Rusafa 212, Baghdad / Al-Karkh 300, Medical City 102, Najaf 120, Al-Sulaymaniyah 38, Erbil 114, Duhok 7, Karbala 124, Kirkuk 102 Diyala 85, Wasit 228, Basra 117, Maysan 73, Babel 80, Al-Diwaniyah 72, Dhi Qar 50, Al-Anbar 12, Nineveh 22, Saladin 5.

The newly diagnosed cases were distributed as follows:

 Baghdad/ Al-Rusafa 382, ​​Baghdad/ Al-Karkh 375, Medical City 69, Najaf 125, Al-Sulaymaniyah 141, Erbil 101, Duhok 3, Karbala 187, Kirkuk 137, Diyala 88, Wasit 105, Basra 258, Maysan 60, Babel 140, Al-Diwaniyah 71, Dhi Qar 64, Al-Anbar 15, Al-Muthanna 36, ​​Nineveh 28, Saladin 100.

While 90 mortality cases were registered, as follows:

Baghdad/ Al-Rusafa 14, Baghdad/ Al-Karkh 8, Medical City 5, Najaf 1, Al-Sulaymaniyah 10, Erbil 1,

Karbala 9, Kirkuk 5, Diyala 1, Wasit 6, Basra 8, Maysan 4, Babel 2, Al-Diwaniyah 4, Dhi Qar 2, Al-Anbar 1, Al-Muthanna 3, Nineveh 1, Saladin 5

The total number of confirmed cases registered since the beginning of the outbreak reached 104711, while the total number of recoveries became 71268. The total number of Inpatients is 29231, including 456 patients admitted to ICU. The death toll is 4212.
