Shafaq News/ The Shiite Coordination Framework (CF) decided to form a committee to discuss the next Prime Minister

An informed source told Shafaq News Agency that the CF's forces agreed to form a committee to discuss the candidates for the position of prime minister, indicating that Nuri al-Maliki and Hadi al-Amiri "showed more flexibility" to facilitate this task.

The source added that the committee would submit a report regarding this issue within 24 hours.

Yesterday, Shafaq News agency learned that the leader of the Sadrist movement, Muqtada al-Sadr, asked Hadi al-Ameri, the head of the al-Fatah coalition, to run for premiership.

Reliable sources told Shafaq News agency that al-Sadr had already contacted al-Ameri, and confirmed that he would fully support his candidacy.

They added that the Coordination Framework is currently working to finalize the premiership file amid disagreements between its members over supporting the candidacy of second-class leaders of the CF or extending Mustafa al-Kadhimi's mandate.
