Baghdad issues a statement regarding the need for 1,000 billion to upgrade its entrances
Shafaq News / Baghdad governorate issued on Friday a statement regarding the 1,000-billion-dinar project of upgrading the entrances of the Capital.
The governorate said in a statement received by Shafaq News agency, "some media outlets and social media pages reported a statement attributed to the governor of Baghdad, Muhammad Jaber Al-Atta, about the need to allocate 1000 billion to upgrade the entrances of the Capital".
"The project has been suspended as it requires huge sums", the statement added.
As by the statement, Al-Atta decided to refer this file to the council of Representatives and the relevant committees to put it forward for investment instead of loading the state budget with huge sums of money.
