Baghdad Operations command issues special measures for Christmas and New Year celebrations

Shafaq News / The Baghdad Operations Commander issued measures to secure celebrations on the occasion of Christmas and New Year's Eve.

Baghdad Operations Commander Lieutenant General Qais Khalaf al-Muhammadawi said in a statement, "We instruct all security forces throughout Baghdad governorate to provide full protection and a safe environment for churches and places to celebrate these holidays."

He added, "these celebrations confirm our national unity."
