Ayatollah Al-Sistani announced that Sunday is the first day of Ramadan

Shafaq News/ The office of the Supreme Shiite Authority, Ayatollah Sayyid Ali Al-Sistani, reported that tomorrow, Saturday, is a complement to Shaaban Month.
A statement from Al-Sistani's office said, "Sunday, April 3 will be the first day of the holy month of Ramadan for 1443 A.H."
Earlier, the Sunni Endowment of Iraq announced that the first day of the holy month of Ramadan is Saturday.
Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Qatar, Bahrain, and the UAE also said that Saturday is the first day of the holy month.
