An explosion in Diyala kills a civilian

Shafaq News / A security source said today, Friday, that a civilian was killed by an explosive device in the outskirts of Al-Mansuriya district, 45 km northeast of Baqubah.
The source told Shafaq News agency, "An explosive device exploded targeting a family of 4 people in the Sherwin village, north of Al-Mansuriya district, killing one member and wounding the others."
He added that the security forces and the Al-Hashd launched an inspection campaign looking for perpetrators.
It’s noteworthy that The North Mansuriya, northeast of Diyala, are among the sites where armed groups are active due to its geographical nature and the dense orchards, many of which have turned into shelters and hideouts for ISIS members.
