Shafaq News / an explosion has hit a civilian vehicle on the road to Baghdad International Airport.
A security source told Shafaq News agency, “An explosive device left on Baghdad airport highway towards Iraqi capital Baghdad's heavily fortified Green Zone blew up on Wednesday targeting a civilian vehicle without causing any injury.
The source’s information confirmed later by the security media cell statement, which was received by Shafaq.
In the past weeks, US-Coalition forces and interests, especially those of the USA have been targeting frequently to almost daily.
Reports showed that Washington may close its embassy in Baghdad and impose sanctions on Iraq due to these attacks.
