An employee of the Election Commission assassinated in Baghdad

Shafaq News/ A security source reported, on Thursday, that an unknown gunman had killed an employee of the Election Commission in the Iraqi capital, Baghdad.

Recently, many activists in the protests in Iraq have been targeted; some were killed and others were arrested. This comes despite the promises made by Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi to protect the demonstrators.
