Al-Karkh Court confirms the statements of Shilan’s killer

Shafaq News / Al-Karkh InvestigationCourt in Baghdad, which is concerned with terrorist cases, confirmed on Thursday the statements of the accused in the murder of pharmacist Shilan and her parents.

A statement issued by the Supreme Judicial Council said today that the accused "confessed to killing the victims and his statements were confirmed in the presence of the deputy public prosecutor and the delegated lawyer."

The statement confirmed that the accused was arrested after coordination between the National Security Service and the Directorate of Combating Crime and Asayish Kurdistan Region in Erbil Governorate.
