Al-Kadhimi to deliver to Mandali border crossing to Diyala operations

Shafaq News/ Mandali district director Mazen Akram announced today, Monday, the withdrawal of the quick reaction force from the Mandali border crossing from east of Diyala in the border with Iran, and handing it over to the governorate’s forces.
Akram said in a news interview that the withdrawal of the Quick reaction force was based on orders from the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces
The Iraqi government has closed the Mandali border crossing since last March due to the directives of the supreme Committee for Health and National Safety about Covid-19 pandemic.
Quick reaction force secured the Mandali border crossing with Iran several weeks ago after a decision to partially reopen it for trade between Iran and Iraq.
