Al-Kadhimi to announce the investigation results

Shafaq News / A governmental source announced that today the Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi is going to announce the results of the investigation about the murder of protestors in Al-Tahrir square in Baghdad, and other governorates.

The source said to Shafaq news agency that The October movement Investigation Committee had finished its investigation. Revealing that the PM’s consultant is going to announce the results in a press conference today.

The PM gave, on 27 July, the security services 72 hours to announce the investigation’s results.

In a security meeting after the confrontations in Al-Tahrir square, yesterday, he also invited the heads of the National Security Service and The Counter Terrorism Service to protect the protestors and to satisfy their legitim rights.
