Al-Kadhimi refers a relative of a minister to investigation

Shafaq News / The Iraqi Prime Minister, Mustafa Al-Kadhimi, referred a relative of the Minister of Transport to the investigation due to the incident that occurred on a flight to Beirut.

A spokesman for PM, Ahmed Mulla Talal, said, in a press conference held today, that the incident of the plane delay to Lebanon caught the attention of the PM, noting that appointing of the director of airlines the resolution that restricts the authority of making these assignments to the prime minister.

Mulla Talal said that the Prime Minister terminated the assignment of an employee from the relatives of the Minister of Transport and referred him to the investigation because of the incident.

The Iraqi authorities launched an investigation in the incident after a footage went viral on social media. The flight to Beirut was delayed because of an official and his family.
