A new representative instead of Ghaida Kambash

Shafaq News / Today, Thursday, a parliamentary source in the Ittihad al-Kowa bloc revealed a replacement for Representative Ghaida Kambash, who died from infection with Corona virus last July.
The bloc announced earlier the nomination of former MP Salah Muzahim Al-Jubouri as a replacement for MP Kambash, but the latter announced his withdrawal from the candidacy without disclosing the reasons.
The source told Shafaq News agency that the Iraqi parliament will vote today, during its scheduled session, to appoint Iqbal Al-Lahibi in the seat of the MP Ghaida Kambash.
It is noteworthy that more than 50 deputies in the Iraqi parliament were infected with Corona virus during the past three months.
