A new explosion targets an international coalition convoy in southern Iraq

Shafaq News / The Security Media Cell reported on Tuesday that an explosion targeted Logistics Convoys of international coalition forces leaving Iraq, in Babel governorate.
The international coalition convoys have been repeatedly targeted in Iraq during the past months, in incidents for which no party has claimed responsibility.
It is noteworthy that two similar explosions occurred on Monday in Babel and Al-Diwaniyah governorates.
However, pro-Iranian factions, led by the Iraqi Hezbollah Brigades, have vowed to attack American forces if they do not withdraw from the country.
